Pa potem QPR, Newcastle, pa dvakrat Liverpool (Liga in Finale FA),...

Pa zdaj sta tekmi v soboto in ponedeljek. Ampak praktično do Camp Nou ne bodo imeli nekih silnih potovanj.
Vse te tekme bodo igrali v Londonu (SB, Wembley, Craven Cottage, Emirates)
IN sLOVEnia WITH CHELSEA

Jeba bo, ker na tekmi z Arsenalom bo šlo na nož -> direktna borba za top4. Upam, da bo morala prava, in da ne bo kakih poškodb.

NEW PLAN FOR UNDER 21 AND UNDER 18 COMPETITION

Posted on: Sat 07 Apr 2012

Major changes have recently been agreed to the organisation of youth and reserve team football as a result of the Elite Player Performance Plan.

Among other things, it means that, instead of Centres of Excellence and Academies, there will now be a four-tier system in which clubs' youth setups will be assessed as Category One, Two, Three or Four. Each club will be audited over the coming months to determine their category and, at Chelsea, we will be aiming for Category One.

As of next season, this will affect the games programme accordingly, meaning there will be a new Under-21s league in which all Category One systems will play one another in a national programme, and so on through the other categories. In the new setup, we will only play clubs that have the same category setup as us. This Under-21s league will replace the existing reserve team commitments the club has and, although the number is yet to be agreed, there will be a limited number of players over the age of 21 allowed to compete in these games.

Both Under-18s and Under-21s football will become national programmes under the new system.

Significantly, these games will be played on weekends (between Friday and Monday), so that the clubs' training programmes can all be aligned, from the first team through to the Under-21s and Under-18s.

The Under-18s league will replace the existing Premier Academy League and will also be played in levels from Category One through to Four, with one of the other consequences of this being the removal of the current ruling allowing up to three Under-19s to play in youth fixtures.

As part of the new programme, two of our home games at Under-21s level must be played at Stamford Bridge, in order to guarantee the young players experience of playing in major stadia. We are speaking to clubs at the moment about the possibility of hiring their grounds for the other home games in this competition.

As a club, we are particularly positive about these changes and Chelsea have been very much involved in the process, supporting and consulting along the way. We believe these changes will give clubs more options when it comes to the development of players between youth and first-team level.

At the moment, a lot of boys are going out on loan to Football League clubs at this age. This can obviously be good experience for them because they are playing for three points, playing in men's football and doing so in a crowd environment.

But, at the same time, you can have boys who endure bad experiences out on loan. They can find themselves sitting on the bench and not feeling involved, not to mention that Football League clubs usually play twice a week and the boys' development suffers because they train at a lower intensity in those conditions. Their technical development is affected by that and also by the possibility that the loan club may not play in the style needed for certain players to improve.

Furthermore, professionals are now staying in the game longer owing to improved fitness levels, and naturally development pathways can now take a little bit longer than in the days when 17, 18 and 19-year-olds regularly came into the first team. It now takes longer for a boy to step in and having an Under-21s league will encourage clubs to be more patient with their young players, to hold on to them and keep them under their control a bit longer, in order to prepare them to play at the highest level possible.

After all, it is very possible that the technical level of elite Under-21s games could be higher than many lower league matches.

We also believe these changes will encourage an FA Youth Cup-style atmosphere for Under-21s league games, which would be great for the players involved and for the prestige of the competition.

In addition to these changes in the domestic format of youth and reserve football, the club has signed up to play in a European tournament next season for Under-19s players. We will be entering the NextGen Series, which is a European club competition for young players, organised along the same lines as the Champions League. It will be contested by 24 teams next season and will involve six group-stage games, played between August and December, with knockout rounds in January and February for those who progress.

Welcome Marko Marin! :juhej: :juhej:

Welcome to Chelsea Marko Marin !!!

OMG, to pa je sign da se reče. Poceni, mlad in kvaliteten! V letošnji sezoni sicer precej poškodovan, tako da ni prišel posebej do izraza, vendar že več sezon eden boljših vezistov v Bundesligi. Most welcome :cfc01:
